KAYLA WOODS
Narrative Illustration + Scientific Illustration
As an illustrator I have the wonderful opportunity to create illustrations that will bring something special to a story or project. I have a passion for narrative illustration, concept art, and critters with bad reputations; I want to give character and life to ideas, and inspire people's wonder.

Concept Art Character in Environment Illustration depicting the character ‘Theo’ in an environment that is very much like a combination of Iceland and the typical wild west. Buttes and mountains covered in snow, low vegetation, and areas of volcanic activity.

Scientific Illustration A piece from my set of Herpetological illustrations focused on showing endangered Australian reptiles in a more beautiful light, depicting the curious Murray Darling Carpet Python, and the flower Yellow-Tongue daisy which is native to the snake's habitat.

Scientific Illustration A piece from my set of Herpetological illustrations focused on showing endangered Australian reptiles in a more beautiful light, depicting the shy Little Whip Snake, and the flower Blue-Bottle Daisy which is found in the snake’s native habitats.
